We started small in a single roomed office; but through the dedication, commitment and ingenuity of one man, Leonard De Silva, our Founder, we have attained phenomenal growth.
1983 was a year of new beginnings for Da Vinci. Understanding customer needs he ventured in to a hitherto familiar work terrain of manufacturing Brand Identification Products. It filled the vacuum created by short supply of printed labels to feed the needs of the then booming export garment trade. It worked well.
Soon the need for woven labels happened and he rose to the occasion with hi-tech machinery to compete with the international suppliers. Then he floated Richco Intergraphics to handle the business exclusively.
His obsession with quality paid off when Da Vinci Products matched British Standards specifications and Safety requirements rose to meet European Economic Community levels. Recognition opened for him more windows of business opportunity.
